So did humans become extinct too when the neolithic period ended and we too are something totally different today too, a new species then? Hyenas are hyenas, spotted ones, modern one's unless it is an entirely new animal it is a sub-species which is still a member of the original species.you're not an anthropologist so don't try to act and educated people like one.especially when you don't know what you're talking about even ![]() Whether civilized or hunter gathers humans today are descendants of those neolithic humans.but we don't say humans started in the industrial age because that's when they we're more like us and those neolithic humans were a different species altogether right? Yet you're telling me the spotted hyena and feral horses are extinct replaced by todays modern version of the same animal. Sigh.obviously I know this already and wasn't what I was getting at.like saying the human beings today aren't the same as the one's living in the Neolitihic period. Wild Horse species went extinct in most ares but later domesticated horses that escaped created herds of Feral Horses. The Wild Horses are replaced in the game by Feral Horses.
